Nature’s Nursery in Sunninghill, is located on London Road. We’re less than half a mile from the centre of Sunninghill (2 minutes by car) – and 2 miles from Ascot (5 minutes by car) - making us ideal for anyone looking for a nursery in Sunninghill, Ascot, or the surrounding area. Our Sunninghill nursery occupies a beautiful detached period building with large rooms and lots of natural light and specially created features. Our bright and airy rooms give our children lots of space to explore, play and learn. The nursery is warm and welcoming and has a homely feel which we love, and are very proud of. Our Sunninghill nursery has been created with love and care, and is a beautiful space for our children to enjoy.
We’ve developed separate rooms for our babies / toddlers (3 months to 24 months), our 2 -3 year olds (24 months to 36 months), and our pre-school children (36 months – 60 months), enabling us to resource each room appropriately for the age group, and where they are cared for, nurtured and encouraged to explore and investigate – and each room has recently been equipped with the latest resources and toys.
If you visit our Sunninghill day nursery, you’ll see that it benefits from an amazing outdoor play area spanning 1.5 acres, which allows us to educate in a Forest School environment. Our Forest School has operated since 2012, and encourages the use of natural materials in the outdoors, where children can explore and construct in an imaginative way. Our Forest School has a qualified Forest School Teacher who plans each session around the individual needs of the group. We have a mixture of grass, play bark and safety flooring, and our children are able to enjoy a variety of activities in our indoor sandpit, Hay Barn, and Mud Kitchen, and enjoy digging and planting flowers and vegetables in our ‘growing’ areas. And caring for our chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs!
Whilst you won’t find a day nursery in Sunninghill or Ascot with such extensive outdoor facilities – we also work hard to make the best of our indoor facilities too. Our Baby / Toddler Room is equipped with resources such as sensory equipment, treasure baskets, and our toddler ‘play gym’ - carefully selected and designed to promote your child’s development. And our rooms for older children are packed with resources designed to offer children as much choice as possible and capitalise on their individual areas of interest. We also have the space to give the children the opportunity to run around and engage in physical play indoors, and IT facilities that allow children to begin their learning in his area.
